Zia Vet Clinic

MRI and CT Scan for Pets in Lahore & Karachi

Advanced Cross-Sectional Imaging

When X-rays and ultrasound cannot provide enough detail, MRI and CT offer the next level of diagnostic precision with detailed cross-sectional images revealing structures invisible to conventional methods.

Zia Vet Clinic is one of very few Pakistani veterinary facilities offering both MRI and CT for companion animals and exotics. This reduces the need for exploratory surgery and enables
precise intervention planning.

When Is MRI or CT Recommended?

MRI is the gold standard for neurology: intervertebral disc disease, brain tumours, spinal cord lesions, and seizure disorders. It provides unparalleled soft tissue contrast for surgical planning. CT excels at bone and joint detail: complex fractures, nasal cavity evaluation, ear disease, tumour staging, and dental evaluation. Your vet will recommend the best modality.

Both require general anaesthesia for stillness. We follow rigorous safety protocols including preanaesthetic screening and continuous monitoring. CT takes fifteen minutes for a straightforward study; comprehensive MRI may take over an hour. Results are typically discussed the same day.

We welcome referrals from clinics nationwide. Contact us with your pet’s history and existing imaging so we can prepare the most informative study.
